During my interview I told them about my two prebooked holidays I had, and reaffirmed this on my first day - I was told they would be booked off for me
but it isnt showing up on the app so I asked my manager and they said to book it through the app
My holiday has been denied
What do I do? My holiday is in 3 weeks and has been fully paid etc

Ive had a new job in retail for 6 weeks, after 8 months unemployed
I really struggle with anxiety before and at the start of my shift - and the anxiety tends to carry through unless I have a “friend” on shift with me
I dont dislike my job but it is very strict - I’ve been reprimanded for missing things on date checks despite being new and the expectations are great, and a few other new people have had ‘meetings’ where they are told the result will be termination, although it hasnt been yet
This is also increasing anxiety I think, because the job doesnt feel permanent - as it feels they are waiting to fire me

Im planning to transfer my job to university, but bit worried that it will be far too much

I want to be able to make friends and take part in “uni life”, but theres society stuff 2 days a week, everyone goes out on friday, and I would want to visit my girlfriend on the weekends

As well as this, I have university 5 days a week

How have people worked around this or coped in general?
