I was just inspecting my replacement X870E Taichi with the older one that killed my 9800X3D and spotted some differences in capacitors and the BIOS chip.

First murerboard had 20K 100C caps while the new one has 20K 101C caps (not sure if that makes any difference in quality).

The other difference is a bit weird and can't be sure about it.

First murerboard had BIOS 3.04 chip with different writings and the new one has 3.40 chip.

Is it possible that ASRock realize those components were the culprit in killing AMDDD 9000 CPUs?

Can anybody confirm if their replacement ASRock AM5 motherboards have the same differences?

I am still on 15.1.1 jailbroken and missed iOS 16 and 17 sadly and just today, I saw I can upgrade to 18.7.7 or 26.4.

Should I update to 18.7.7 and hope for a jailbreak or stay where I am?

I miss some stuff that don't run on the old iOS I am on but don't want to lose my JP for long.

The label had 3.40+ in bold font and I didn't know which BIOS came preflashed to the replacement motherboard.

Today, my friend who got me the motherboard, powered the motherboard on and it turned out to be flashed to 4.10 BIOS already. The motherboard came from ASRock directly.
