Is there anything i can to to jailbreak my iphone 4? I want to get apps but i haven't managed to download anything so far.

Is it good idea (battery management, etc.) ?

Впервые задаю какой то вопрос на Redit потому что нигде нету развёрнутого ответа на данный вопрос и надеюсь найти здесь. Не так давно начал стримить мобильные игры на twitch но приходится делать это через эмулятор что крайне не удобно что бы играть. Попытки вывести картинку с ipad всё не удавались по каким либо проблемам:

1. пробовал через lonelyscreen, letsview и подобные программы через встроенный в IOS "повтор экрана" беда была что иногда бывали очень сильные фризы (вполне возможно из-за впн и на пк и на айпаде)

2. дома валялась карта захвата и я нехитрой схемой воткнул в ipad HDMI через переходник и другой конец в пк через карту захвата, беда была что она грелась невероятно сильно и спустя 30 мин работы картинка очень часто отрубалась (карта была на подобие флэшки, с одной стороны выход USB, с другой вход HDMI

3. посоветовался с чатом GPT по поводу карты захвата и он сказал что мне вполне подойдёт любая на USB 3.0 потому что подобные моей говно, я купил такую и была примерно похожая проблема что и во втором пункте только она не грелась

4. искал разные программы которые позволяют вывести изображении с айпада по проводу Type-c но у всех очень высокие цены и редко есть возможность оплаты из рф

Думаю если никакого ответа не найду на Redit то попробую купить б/у Razer ripsaw hd потому что очень хорошая цена и в обзорах говорят что норм.

Recently updated my iphone 8 to 16.7.15 to regain app functionality from 13.3 going from rootful -> rootless. I was wondering if there is any way to sign aside from just installing each week with my laptop as obviously reprovision does not work and I cannot sideload trollstore. A bit annoyed that I cannot downgrade apps also.

Lara (darksword exploit) has been in development and we now have full filsystem access.

What can we actually do now with that?

Also, isn’t it now possible to indefinitely sign apps and/or install trollstore?

Is there a tweak or something, some direction I can investigate to disable that iOS "feature" that disables / "lowers the volume of" your bottom speaker when your battery is not in a good condition ?

Even if I have to charge my phone 4 or more times a day, I can use it to do everything I want but my bottom speaker started lowering the volume a few months ago and now it seems to not output any sound anymore and the sound comes from the top speaker instead.

You may have seen the FiveIconDock via LightSaber post earlier today. This is the same chain but with a new payload. (I am zeroxjf.)

I ported rpetrich's Powercuff into LightSaber. Pick a throttle level (off, nominal, light, moderate, heavy) and the chain injects into thermalmonitord, calling putDeviceInThermalSimulationMode: directly. The daemon reports that thermal level system-wide — Battery, Game Mode, CPU governor, etc.

All credit to rpetrich for the original tweak and the API. This just wires it into the chain instead of loading a dylib.

Since thermalmonitord survives respring, the throttle persists until a full reboot. To change levels, reboot and re-run with a new selection. I may look at avoiding daemon injection altogether to make clearing easier.

Test devices recommended. Chain success rate is ~60–70%; failures can cause resprings or kernel panics.

Not conventional tweak injection, this is JavaScript running inside the DarkSword exploit chain. Still pretty cool for "jailed" iOS 18. More to come as I think of what else could work in this limited environment.
