Loyalty Number Entry Not Reflecting In POS? SMS Delivery for Dine-In

Hi,

We are new to Toast, with our new coffee shop. Bottom line, we are trying to send SMS messages when orders are ready, regardless of dine-in or carryout. We have a counter pick-up that gets crowded, and folks like to sit down. Our order ready board is also not fully visible in the back of the shop.

So, customers enter their loyalty number in front of the POS, but no SMS gets triggered when a POS order is marked complete at the KDS (the Kitchen settings are all on for SMS delivery). Works great for kiosk orders, but not working for POS orders. We use Quick Orders, again per documentation this should work:

I'm starting to feel like the loyalty number entered by customers is not transferred to the POS. Is this how it works? We have to dig through the POS settings to set the customer number again?
