Hi.
just got my auto kamado mail today and barring a couple weird issues it seems to be running. The handle came rusty and the barrel connector on the controller had some kind of paint on it. Everything looks sealed up perfectly fine so just super weird.

The main question I have is that I attach the lid while it was resting on the grill and it seemed to be lined up correctly. However when I push it down with the latch it doesn't really seem to be pushing down with as much pressure as I've seen with other videos. Are you supposed to be pushing down on the front of the lid while you tighten down the screws on the back of the hinge? Or is there some other way to adjust that pressure? It doesn't seem to be leaking smoke but I am curious to hear from anyone who owns one.
Thanks in advance.

curious if anyone thinks they have a good answer to this question. I just ordered the auto kamado and it's getting here in a week and I have a question about the heat deflector. I know that the auto comes with the steel one but I am seeing that there is a stone one that looks like it was originally meant for the regular akorn. It's $60 on Amazon and I'm curious if this is something where it would be worth it to eventually get the stone one instead. The only information I have found is where someone already had the stone one for their regular akorn before they got the auto so they end up using the stone instead because why not. And also because the angle of the metal heat deflector supposedly can make it weird to put a water pan between the heat deflector and the grate. So anyone who has used both I would appreciate any insight you might have.
