The banding in grey scenes has been reduced enough to not really be a major issue anymore (you might need to pixel clean once first)

DSE is still quite noticeable on grey scenes, you will never again see just the plain colour grey, it always looks like some kind of jpeg-y thing.

Overall I'd say it's a worthy competitor for QD if you're looking at 1440p monitors, neither is quite perfect, so pick your poison or keep being patient.

No idea which batch or anything but I've been waiting on this for a long time. I tried a PG27AQWP-W after holding out and was pretty disappointed by the severity of the vertical banding and DSE during grey scenes, so I'm hoping this will be a recent batch and impress.
