A Short story with a simple yet effective message.
On Raksha Bandhan(it's a festival to celebrate the bonding of brother and sister) while in India everyone is celebrating protection.. But Raj runs.
He hasn't worn a rakhi since the day he lost his baby sister. Every red thread is a reminder of failure. This year, he chooses escape over ritual and solitude over celebration.
But on a deserted Bihar highway, one reckless decision changes everything. A stranger in danger. Men who want her erased. And Raj.. caught in the middle of something he doesn't understand.
Now he's hunted and trapped. And the guilt he's been running from?? It's the only thing that might keep them both alive.
"Protection isn't a sacred thread tied in ceremony. Sometimes it's a choice made in darkness.."
