If you're student teaching, do you count "days" where the teachers at your school attend 2-3 hours of professional development with NO students in attendance as part of your student teaching days? Or are only days with students in attendance counted?

Hi! I wanted to ask about people's experiences with EC from birth.
Our daughter is 11 days old today and we've been doing EC since she was two days old. The very first time I caught a pee was in the sink at the maternity ward, and then later that day my husband learned how to hold her over the sink, deal with the crying, and she pooped! Then the nurses came in a totally flabbergasted about two extremely proud new parents holding a baby over some poop in the sink...
Since we've gotten home we've had some mixed success with poops -- her meconium poops were way easier to catch, but I do catch a good amount of pees! (Husband is opposite. They're completely in-sync about 75% of her poops). She's in disposables until she's big enough to fit the cloth diapers we have. Also, she's EBF.
For others who started with newborns, what was your timeline for your baby signaling for the toilet on his or her own? When your baby is cluster-feeding, how often do you offer the toilet? Did/do you have more success with one (pee vs poop) over the other?
