I have offers for Bristol (film and television), Sheffield Hallam (film and tv production) and Worcester (filmmaking).

Could anyone doing any of these courses share their experience?

I’m looking for a mainly practical course.
Bristol was my top choice but the course looks like it’s mainly theory and I can’t find many reviews for it and couldn’t go to an open day.

Just not sure if I should go for the higher ranking ‘prestigious’ uni but potentially be doing a course I’m not happy with, or a lower ranking uni but the course is more what I’m after.

Any advice is appreciated please 🙏

Can anyone doing film and television tell me how practical the course is? Or is it mainly theory? How often do you actually get to make short films?
