I only buy two pickle brands. Claussen and Grillo's. I've been reading the horror stories about Claussen for the last couple months. I was in denial, as my previous jar was normal. My new jar may be a total loss. I bought the spears, and the lid has the sticker covering the "always refrigerated, never heated" wording. I bit into a pickle and it was mush, for lack of a better word. The crunchiest part of the pickle was the tough skin. And, by tough skin, I don't mean that in a good way. The skin takes extra chewing power to get through.

Now obviously, they are owned by Kraft-Heinz, so they have shareholders to please. But, what the fuck?
