How to convince elderly man to drink filtered water instead of bottled water

Home has well water, filtered and softened including iron master but he refuses to drink it. Adding reverse osmosis filter and tap at the kitchen sink was my best idea, but his wife says he won’t even drink it from a Brita filter pitcher so it seems he has a psychological issue about it that can’t be fixed with anything DIY. The amount of small plastic drinking water bottles that come out of this household is ridiculous.

New ideas would be greatly appreciated.

This skeleton alien guy is pretty obvious, but "they" don't always appear so close to the viewer. Give it a try if you haven't already, please share your experiences.

I just noticed there's some furniture floating in the pool too. Someone pointed out recently that some models may be using the Freudian definition of uncanny.
