"Best" tall toddler/preschooler carrier?

Hi! We've been baby wearing our kid (16 months, very tall and slim) lots his whole life, currently using a Tula FTG and ring sling mostly. We're not really using a stroller at all, and he's walking well independently! I bought a basic black Tula, and want to treat myself to a pretty carrier in the next size up. There's no immediate rush on this, I know he'll fit in the Tula for a while yet! But, if I can get one which will overlap, that would be nice. Main uses for the carrier will be national/international travel (airports, unfamiliar cities etc) and hiking in nature (temperature varies lots where we are). We'll also take it on Big Days Out for when his little legs get tired!

We're based in the US, but from the UK so could get one available here or there quite easily. It'll be used by both myself and my partner, so adjustability is definitely a pro! I've been looking at the Tula toddler carrier (I like that you can get linen) and Oscha Cairis toddler carrier (ummm hello glorious LoTR prints!) - does anyone have any recommendations or experience with either of these? Or any other brands/models they'd recommend? Thanks!
