Looking for: Pre-Carbonization / Carbonization / Pyrolysis Service (Metro Manila/Nearby)
We are looking for a facility or service provider capable of processing 200 kg of pre-treated (NaOH-soaked and dried) coconut shells for research purposes.
Required Process:
• Stage 1 (Pre-Carbonization/Devolatilization): 250°C to 300°C hold for 30–60 minutes
• Stage 2 (Final Carbonization): 500°C hold for exactly 1 hour
Requirements:
• Oxygen-limited or inert Nitrogen (N₂) atmosphere
• Sealed chamber / pyrolysis reactor
• Preferably muffle furnace, rotary kiln, or sealed pyrolysis reactor with precise temperature control
• Must avoid complete combustion/ashing
Target:
• ~93.8% carbon content
• Optimal surface area (~32 m²/g)
Location preferably around Quezon City / Metro Manila to minimize transport costs.
