Hi, I'm kinda nervous. I left my job to focus on the review, pero been reading lots stating na mahirap ang August MTLE compare sa March MTLE. For those who took the board twice, what can you say about this experience po? I admit my foundation weren't that great, not even the smartest kid in class, masipag lang, would that be enough to ace the MTLE??? Help meee, I'm scared and starting to doubt myself again. Huhu!
My mind right now is sooo magulo, seeing that I sacrificed my job plus the scarcity of laboratory hiring new techs or if not ang lowballers naman made me questioned my decisions in life. Tell me, worth it pa rin naman to pursue our profession in this economy no? 🥹

Hi! Curious lang. May mga medtech graduates ba here na nakapag-med school agad right after graduation like same year (graduate July then start med by August)?
Napansin ko kasi na sa ibang pre-med programs, may chance na makapag-enroll agad sa med school without a gap year. Pero sa medtech dahil sa internship schedule parang ang hirap habulin yung timeline.
Possible po ba siya if maaga mag-apply sa med school while internship pa lang? Or realistically, unavoidable talaga yung gap year for MedTech grads? Or meron naman yung mga sobrang galing na kaya pagsabayin lahat hahahahaha

Do I need to bring my laptop during my training at Hi-Pre? May mga instances po ba na magagamit ko yung laptop, like documents, notes, etc.?
Sa accommodation po nila ako magsstay, so I’m thinking of leaving it at home nalang. It’s been bugging me lang kasi baka magsisi ako na iniwan ko yung laptop ko tas need pala😅

I'm gonna be in college soon and I chose BsMLS to be my course since I've always wanted to work in a lab setting and and of the happy encounters I had with Medtechs when I was younger.
But after reading through this sub, I honestly feel discouraged seeing how under appreciated and underpaid Medtechs are (you all deserve better, really).
But there's no backing off now, so I just wanted to ask if masaya po ba kayo sa field? Even despite the low salary
