Does anyone have tips on how to test the terminal strip on Furnace board to see if Furnace board is bad?

The transformer has blown twice and so no power to Furnace control board at the moment.

Or is there another way to test Furnace control board?

Was wondering if someone could help me.

I have a single member pllc and want to work a contract position until business picks up.

Is there any tax benefit at this time for my contracting (1099) work to be under the business name? Or does it not matter since I will be filing taxes together as a single member pllc?
