Hi everyone, finally a good news! After I posted here on reddit, (please click the original post above, im not sure how to properly repost it sorry), a very kind lawyer reached out to me and filed a Notice of Dispute on my behalf.

After that, StubHub emailed me saying that the 4 erroneous charges are reversed and I will receive them in my bank account within 5 business days.

As per the agent today, there was a system glitch and that they already fixed it. :(

I received 3 sets of emails for all my 4 sales transactions:

  1. "A charge has been cancelled".

  2. "A credit has been issued".

  3. "Your dispute for transaction xxxxx has been accepted".

I also regained access to my account.

The past few days have been extremely stressful, so this is a huge relief. If anyone else is going through something similar, I strongly recommend filing a Notice of Dispute.

That said, StubHub still owes me the proceeds from my ticket sales after the concert in October 2026, so I’m hoping that process goes smoothly from here.

This was my first time selling tickets, and honestly, it was a pretty overwhelming experience.

Thank you to everyone who shared advice and their experiences, it really helped. And a huge thank you to the lawyer who reached out and assisted me. He’s apparently helped a lot of people dealing with similar StubHub issues.

I sold tickets. All tickets are already accepted by buyers months ago, but stubhub charged me instead + locked my account with no explanation. So i am losing money TWICE.
