I brought my Optiq in a couple months back because the brakes on this vehicle are so loud it's embarrassing. If I so much as touch the brake pedal at a low speed, the squealing that they make is brutal. The dealership tried saying "ceramic brakes are loud" and played it off like it's normal. I've installed ceramic pads on 4 of my last vehicles, and never did I have this issue with completely dry brakes.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just GM using the cheapest pads possible?

Is it just me, or does the manual reference to half circles marking the jacking location simply not exist? I'm honestly just guessing at this point based on grainy tiny images from the manual.
