Rear windows not going down
Hello, I was hoping to get some opinions on problem with my rear windows on 95 525i. So I've read posts about possible switch, wires, and window motor, but was hoping to get possible guesses on root issue.
My rear windows worked when i first purchased it a few months ago. But then I noticed one side would not work one day, and then maybe a week later I would try and it would begin working. That went on for 2-3 instances and now both rear windows dont work. I figured if it was a switch etc., it would not have recovered. I am okay buying new regulators and motors, but wanted to see if I was missing something based on the symptoms (like maybe the windows would start/stop working intermittently if it was the switch in center console etc.). When I use the center controls, I do hear "something", its hard to describe but it seems to react. It does not sound loud though.
Any thoughts or inputs would be appreciated.
