Tooth pain 4 weeks after cavities being filled
Four weeks ago, I got 4 cavities filled. Two on the bottom left, one on the bottom right, and one on the top left. During one of the fillings on the bottom left, I had severe nerve pain while drilling despite being completely numbed and not being able to feel her poking anything else. After the fillings were done, I was still in pain. I also notice gum inflammation and bleeding only under the teeth of the cavities that got fillings. I’ve been back twice now and they said the fillings look good. I got more X-rays and they said that they are fine. They also said that there is no need for a root canal and that my bite is fine. I am still have significant pain tho. I have pain with drinking and eating and sometimes just from having my mouth open to air. It is also all intense nerve pain that lasts on teeth on both sides of my mouth, so I am having trouble pin pointing the exact tooth causing issues or if they messed something up. They told me to wait another two weeks and call if I still have pain. Need other opinions as I’m not sure what to do. Thanks!
