Arcteryx vs Patagonia vs Montbell - arm hole height

I own several Arc pieces, two down hoodies (Cerium LT and Thorium, both Large), a Beta LT hardshell (Large) and a Delta LT fleece (Medium), last week I got the Squamish (Large). On all of them I have an issue with the arm hole height and the stitch line digging into my arm pits, it's not the end of the world, but it's bloody annoying and I'm noticing it more and more. First jacket I got was the Thorium and that felt super roomy back then (few years ago), but I noticed recently that the arm holes are pretty high on it as well. The Beta I have is a Large and very very roomy, no issues with the arm holes on that one (sleeves are crazy long though), the Delta LT is also fine, arm holes are cut high, but it's pretty stretch so doesn't do anything bad. Cerium LT is probably on par with the Squamish, although might be worse as it's insulated and there's simply a bit more material under the arm pits. The weird thing with this arm hole cut is the fact that sometimes it's not annoying, not sure if it's how the material folds itself under the arm, or whether it's what I wear under (it's typically a long sleeve sweat top which is pretty slim), but sometimes it simply goes away and I'm happy. Most of the time it doesn't though...so I'm looking to sell some of the pieces and swap to a different manufacturer.

Has anyone here compared arm hole height between Arc and Pata or Montbell? I do love the aesthetic of Arc and overall cut, so it's a massive shame (I got half the stuff used), but I don't think I can get over the arm hole fit.

Note: I'm rather slim and tall, 6'5" / 82kg (180lbs) and have very little muscle on my chest, so I'm super surprised the arm holes are an issue (and btw I love high cut armholes as the range of movement is great), on top of everything I'm usually wearing Large sizes, so how do other people fit in those is beyond me.
