Rattling when idling/accelerating. Any ideas?

Reposting again because this post does not wanna seem to upload. Let me know if the video plays alright.

My 2010 Patriot CVT 2.4L (213,589 miles) is definitely on its last legs, but I'm trying to get it to last until my next car. New issue started a few days ago after I had to brake hard when someone blew a stop sign. Rattling/rapid clicking occurs when I'm idling and gets faster as I accelerate. Video shows where I think it may be coming from.

I know it could be literally anything, but I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem or has any idea what it could be. Frankly, just wanna get an idea of what it could be before I either take it to the mechanic or the junk yard.

Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

I work in the vet field and attend a lot of dogs shows, so I work with a lot of breeders (was one at one point, avtually). It's been on my mind lately the different environments in which these breeders whelp their dogs.

In the past, I whelped and sold puppies from my house, and that seems to be the norm. A house with a yard and plenty of space for the pups, especially with medium to large breed dogs. That being said, I've run into more apartment breeders lately, especially with small and toy breeds, though some bigger dogs on occasion. Instead of a yard, they take them places and socialize them in other ways. They seem like perfectly healthy pups and ethical breeders, best they can be given their circumstances.

My question is: what do you all think? What would you think if you went to buy a pup from an apartment? Does it really matter so long as the place is clean and the pups and mom are healthy? Just curious.
