Getting married in December: Are these bridal makeup quotes reasonable?
Hi, I’m getting married this December and I’m currently looking to book a makeup artist for my wedding, sangeet, and a small pooja in Delhi NCR.
I reached out to around 10–15 artists whose work I genuinely liked and connected with, but none of them are quoting less than ₹95,000 to ₹1 lakh. On top of that, I’m also expected to cover accommodation, travel and food costs for them and their team. And it doesn't include draping and hair accessories.
I’m a makeup artist myself, so technically I could do my own makeup. But since it’s such an important day, I don’t want to risk anything going wrong because of nervousness, stress, or last-minute issues. That’s why I’m trying to hire someone else.
At this point, I honestly don’t know what’s considered normal anymore. What should be a realistic budget for bridal makeup for these three functions in Delhi NCR? I’m feeling a bit confused and overwhelmed by all of this, so any advice or honest input would really help.
