Hi, the game is kinda a board game with deckbuilding elements.

So, I wanted to add animation as if when you place a card on a tile it goes out from the hand to the hex. In the clip I wanted show it with several cards as some are placeholder.

So my question is that do you think about the animation itself? I couldn't find a way to make it better but it feels like something off and cheap even though I kinda like the idea.

How can I improve the card fly to grid animation or should I cancel it make it instant placement? Also, if there are stuff that catches your eyes I would really love to hear your feedback on other visuals as well.

Thanks :)

Hey we’re working on Tavrik, a grid-based strategy roguelite deckbuilder about crossing dangerous procedural maps by changing the terrain with cards.

You use cards to build roads, place bridges, transform terrain, create structures, and manage helpers. The main resource is energy, and every step across the map has a cost. Once you reach the exit, you can leave safely or stay longer for more gold while the threat level keeps rising.

If you would like to check it out or wishlist, Steam page is here.
