CEO Notes - Upcoming Changes

Lineup Strategy
-Expanded rotating menu featuring 6 desserts
-Condensed Classic menu featuring 4 strong cookies that rotate seasonally
-1 Cookie Thins flavor will be included in the weekly rotation and will run for the full week

Better Bake
In an effort to make our desserts more approachable, calorie conscious, and bake better, we're making systematic recipe changes to all large cookies.
Look for new training assets next week that will reflect these changes.
New Chocolate Chip
A brand new cookie combining the best of our semi-sweet and milk chocolate flavor profiles, built from the ground up on a new brown sugar base.
This new cookie features liquid eggs and egg yolks. Stores may need to manually separate egg yolks for the first few weeks

Themed Weeks:
Our first themed week aimed at amplifying brand heat will be May 31st. There will be no operational lift for this themed week. More information to come soon.

Visibility Changes:
Starting May 24th, stores will have limited calendar visibilitybeyond the current operational week to increase brand surprise and delight. Refer to previous announcements to see specific timelines for your region. Recipes for future desserts will be visible 2 weeks in advance. Dessert names and imades will be obscured until the official Sunday drop to drive hype.
**Essential operational information will still be communicated **the week before each menu launch.

…so basically no more spoilers and the cookies won’t taste the same.

Review Week 5/11/2026

Disclaimer- I am an employee and make my own cookies. Reviews are based on how we test and sell them.

Well this sure is a beige week…

Cookie dough 🍪 5/10 - how many times is this cookie going to be on the lineup… my god I am bored. Every time we have this one now, I think it’s going to be like the Kardashian version, and then it’s not. I have always found the frosting for this original version off putting and almost rancid tasting. The molasses extract is so potent and in this, unbaked form, it’s funky. The base cookie is boring, a brown sugar cookie, and there needs to be lots of little cookie dough bites for this to feel worth it. Boring… and I forgot the mini chips on mine again lol

Banana bread 🍌 8.3/10 - ohhhh yes, this one is a favorite of mine. It’s soft, sweet from the real bananas, and made better with a vanilla cream cheese glaze and cinnamon streusel. The streusel is the same as sticky bun, which is my second favorite cookie of all time, and unfortunately that one is in the graveyard. I wish the cookie itself was heavier on the spices though, definitely needs more cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg. And even better would be the addition of some chocolate chips in the base! Without the glaze and streusel, it’s very boring and bland. Surprisingly, I’m glad it’s not a frosting on top, because it would have been too heavy since the cookie itself is very dense.

Toffee cup 🍮 8/10 for taste 1/10 for dessert style - yeah I’m surprised I enjoy a cup item.. I just can’t resist toffee desserts no matter what form they are in! I remember enjoying the original toffee cake too, and I miss the chocolate toffee cookie. The cake layers are pretty dry, even when soaked in milk, but luckily the vanilla caramel mousse and caramel sauce in between the layers helps out the lame cake in between, which is a shame because a good ‘better than sex’ cake has rich fudgey cake layers.. but this is crumbl we’re talking about, so the cakes suck. The vanilla caramel mousse is absolutely the star of this dessert. It’s both rich and refreshing, imagine if they used this on the snickers cookie instead of the regular frosting! There’s also crunchy toffee bits in between which help give it some texture. I just hate the act of eating these cup desserts. I can’t cut a nice slice of it and have to dig around with a spoon or fork and it’s a mess. Thank god the taste makes up for the awful design.

Oreo cheesecake 🐼 3/10 - I am not a fan of the cheesecakes, never have been and never will. The texture is somehow flaky yet creamy, and the aftertaste is sour. The Oreos mixed inside become soggy so a lot of texture is lost, but at least the Oreo crust is sweet, buttery, and rich. This is just a very boring option with all the other cookies and cream flavors that Crumbl has.

Pink velvet heart cake 💖 4/10 - I do like how dense these heart cakes are in terms of the structure of the cake, it doesn’t flake and fall apart without milk like all of the other cakes do. However, I’m just not a cake batter fan. The cream cheese frosting tones down the cake batter flavoring, so that’s a plus, but not a plus if you love cake batter. It’s cute, visually adorable but boring.

Galaxy brownie ✨ 9/10 - May the 4th be with you and whatever.. I’m not a Star Wars fan 😅 love this cookie though! I absolutely love the base brownie cookie, which is made with Ghirardelli brownie mix. The brownie mix has little semi sweet chips inside, so there’s the occasional bite of a chocolate chip. The chocolate glaze on top is very rich with cocoa, and I absolutely adore those tiny rainbow chips on top! Obviously, this cookie is trying to replicate the Little Debbie Cosmic Brownie, and I think it comes very close, but the glaze should be a fudge frosting instead. Cosmic brownies have that thick layer of fudge on top but it’s closer to a frosting than a glaze. Other than that, it’s still a rich and dense cookie that evokes a lot of nostalgic memories of getting a cosmic brownie in my lunchbox.

Biscoff white chip 6/10 - for being a Biscoff flavored cookie, it tastes like someone whispered the word Biscoff in the general direction of a crumbl. It’s so.. muted. There’s biscoff and biscoff cookies mixed in, and yet it’s so mild! I wish this had a whole layer of biscoff on top instead of just half a cookie. This was the same reaction I had to it years ago when I first had it.

Chocolate covered strawberry 🍓 9/10 - I’ve loved this one for years! I did notice the frosting change from buttercream to cream cheese, and my ranking went down (even though I love the cream cheese frostings!) I just find the frosting to be a bit too soft and goopy and I think the tanginess from the cream cheese throws off the chocolate covered strawberry vibe. I COVERED my own in chocolate… because that’s what chocolate covered strawberry is. The drizzle is silly to me. I think it should be the chocolate cookie, strawberry buttercream, then a layer of hard chocolate. Or even chocolate curls.

Moms recipe 👵🏻 9.5/10 - HEATH, PEANUT BUTTER, CHOCOLATE, AND OATS. It's like the Powerpuff Girls, sugar, spice and everything nice! Crumbl doesn't have enough Heath cookies. It's crunchy on the edges and soft in the middle. sweet and rich caramel and chocolate make such a delicious symphony of flavors. Combine that with peanut butter, and more chocolate and the warmth of a cinnamon oatmeal cookie... truly reminds me of home. And don't forget the dash of salt on top to bring out the sweetness! This is honestly such a slept on cookie, as simple as it is. I wish the heath pieces were bigger or that it was added on top before baking.
