My whole adult life I have been playing the Sims - I started with 1 in college - and I've always wanted to make Sims stories and content. I finally understand how, and have some time in my life, and I can't because I can't in good conscience do it. Even the older games are ruined by the taint of the buyout. I'm so annoyed that EA has taken the turn it has - Maxis would never. 😞
I've been experimenting with Obsidian for a bit and have two vaults - one personal and one for my graduate studies. I recently upgraded to a dedicated work/school machine apart from my gaming laptop. I had my vaults stored on Proton Drive. I can access my Proton Drive on the web on my second machine, but I think due to the way Proton Drive handles files I can't use Obsidian on the second machine.
What is the best way to have access to the school vault on both machines? Obsidian sync? Hosting elsewhere?
I lost my original heir's wife and infant in childbirth with twins. Watching her come back to check on her living son has been so sweet and sad.
I have most things except for the last four expansions - I'm going to wait for a sale - but I'm thinking ahead. What would make sense for the next best purchase for UDC?
I'm leaning towards Businesses and Hobbies (for venue types and wfh businesses - though I use LMS live in businesses) or Royalty and Legacy, but Adventure Awaits and Enchanted by Nature also have cool features.
