Cameras/Webcams for Streaming? (Beginner → Pro setups)
Hi everyone, I’ve been looking into streaming camera setups recently and honestly spent way too much time researching different options, from basic webcams to full mirrorless setups.
Figured I’d put together a simple list in case it helps someone else trying to upgrade.
I personally ended up looking into some of the newer hybrid options like the YoloCam S7, but I also compared quite a few traditional webcams and camera setups along the way.
I know lists like this never match everyone’s opinion, so feel free to disagree or add better suggestions.
Overall (Personal Take):
Best simple upgrade: Elgato Facecam MK.2
Best bridge option (for me): YoloCam S7
Best full quality setup: Mirrorless camera + capture card
I’m just curious to know what people here are actually using for their streams.
Are most people still going the full DSLR/mirrorless route, or are these newer hybrid/webcam setups good enough now?
