just snagged this off facebook marketplace for a nice deal! has anyone ever tried this with the Weber DT-10P? Weber claims they come close to the blue alnicos but i’m hesitant to believe that.

This is my dad’s 1966 Gretsch Tennessean 6119 and the nut looks… weird with .52-.10 gauge strings on. There’s no buzzing anywhere, but is this nut on its last legs?

i wanted to go ahead and purchase this replacement neck pickup for my 360v64 but i noticed there’s an addendum that says this pickup wont work with a 360/12c63. the c63 and v64 are fairly similar guitars if i am remembering correctly, id just like to change to a from the “hot toaster” to a scatterwound in the neck position if that is at all possible.

also, if i feel the neck position is too muddy, would the scatterwound be the solution?
