I've been researching to see if a person was able to activate windows xp using (https://visualsupport.microsoft.com/) aka The Product Activation Portal.

One person has posted on the Microsoft Forum on March 25 2026 that they couldn't activate anything other then windows 7

I'm just want to see if it's truly if anyone was able to do it even if you were forced to login to you Microsoft account to activate it.
