What's a piece of advice you'd give to someone about to start at Imperial that isn't about academics?

Everyone knows it's going to be academically intense. That part is well documented. But what about everything else - the social side, living in London, managing your time, staying sane during exam season, finding your people? What's something you learned the hard way that you wish someone had just told you straight up before you started?
