I've experienced this 3 times now: putting in new batteries, experiencing dead batteries a month later after maybe using 25%. I turn it off every time, and put it in a hard case in my gun room. No chance for the buttons to be pressed.

It's incredibly frustrating, as every other optic or camera I own never does this. Did i get a bad optic?

I'd love to know if anybody else is experiencing this.
