Managing GUI/menu access while using a wheel

Curious for ideas on how others handle this. I finally got my Moza r5 setup up and running and mounted to a truck stand.

Loving the wheel and setup! The only thing is, I find it is a little cumbersome to access the game GUI and menus. The stand has me sitting farther back from the desk so it's awkward to reach my keyboard and mouse.

Do you guys just set the keyboard and mouse to the side or is there a more elegant and pleasant way to do this?

I find it's the biggest thing I miss compared to using a controller-- with a controller navigating menus is a breeze as you have the L and R buttons along with right-stick acting as cursor movement.

Advantages of the KW W900?

So I own the W900 now (Jon Ruda's). I really love the look, but I'm having a hard time getting used to the feel. The turning radius feels like I'm driving a boat.

I know this is a well loved truck, and I figure I'm just inexperienced here, so I wanted to ask.

What are the big advantages and appeal of the truck and how can I get the most out of it? Compared to the small K100 cabover I've been using it feels like a totally different experience. Which is not a bad thing but I'm struggling.

Are there particular engine, transmission, chassis, etc setups I should work towards in the W900 to make it smoother? Or would an alternative truck perhaps be a choice to consider? I admittedly know almost nothing about trucks yet, or their engines, or the mechanics, but I'm willing to learn and experiment. Just don't want to flail around in the dark completely.

Thanks for any insight. Any and all ideas are welcome.

Photo waypoints that appear inaccessible?

Hi all- I've stared to pay attention to collecting Photo and PoI's on my routes where possible.

However I've noticed that some of them seem to be off the road in "no man's land" space. The nodes are noticably off in empty territory by a short distance, but there will appear to be no actual road that can access it.

or it will be in some obviously walled off area where the glowing arrows prevent you from crossing into.

What's the deal with this? Not sure what I'm missing. Thanks!
