Best Platforms to Share Art that isn't Twitter or Instagram (2026)?

Hello, this post isn't for me, but for someone I followed on Instagram who was trying to make a new account, but got banned.

So an artist I used to watch wants to come back to share artwork she drew on a cartoon we used to watch a long time ago. I don't want to give a lot about this user, but she used to be on DeviantArt and later Tumblr, but they migrated to Instagram in the mid 2010s. They closed their tumblr and DeviantArt about 5 years ago, and later Instagram in 2023.

They went into hibernation aside from a comment they posted on Twitter 2 years ago, but this artist came back and wanted to post art from a cartoon she was a fan of. They first tried Twitter, but they jumped ship back to Instagram because she claims that it's 10% less evil. Things were well until this morning after her account vanished. I first thought she closed it herself because no one was watching her aside from me. But she posted on her Twitter that her Instagram was gone. (whenever or not because I commented about her account or she saw her email about it). Prior to the ban, the user only posted 12 pieces of art with an animation for the past 2-3 days. I don't know if it's because it's a recent account or Instagram thought that she might be a spammer. Instagram stated that they'll unban her if she shows proof she's human, but she doesn't want to likely to keep her identity safe and takes the comment back that Instagram is less evil than Twitter.

I feel kinda upset on her behalf as I don't want her to give up just because of what happened on Instagram and commented on her Twitter to try other platforms, but I haven't heard from it since.

I want to ask any of you on what platforms are better to showcase their art? I know they likely won't try DeviantArt and Tumblr as they likely don't want to go back to those cesspools, and they likely won't try Twitter and Instagram. I know there's Bluesky, but it's just Twitter with a new coat of paint (especially as they're just as toxic, they just don't want to be on a site owned by someone they don't like). The only other platform that'll be more suitable is NewGrounds as they haven't been affected with most of the platforms I mentioned.

TARDIS Wiki States the Wrong Characters on Rani Chandra's Fridge

So the TARDIS Wiki states that in the Sarah Jane Adventures' episode "The Mark of the Berserker" there's an Animaniacs stick on Rani Chandra's fridge. I didn't know what scene they're talking about, but I watched this part and this is whoever made the claim. I circled in red on what they're talking about.

If this is the scene, this is wrong. Because the characters shown don't match up the Warner siblings, especially the colors on the characters faces. It's clearly Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Plus Animaniacs wasn't relevant when the episode came out, unless Rani's family had a niche interest in the show.

Do the Region 2 DVDs of "The Chase" and "Remembrance of the Daleks" retain the original Music and Copyrighted Scenes?

So I want to ask anybody that owns either DVDs from the UK if both Dalek stories retain the original copyrighted music (or scenes in the case of "The Chase") compare to the US?

Basically, both stories use the Beatles and there's some copyright stuff going on for the US releases (apparently, even the US Blu-ray release that features "The Chase" is the same cut from the US DVDs). "Chase" has the Beatles scene cut, and music heard in the cafe scenes used copyrighted music.

I already owned two versions of "Remembrance" that were released in the US, so I want to compare if the music is left intact in the original UK releases?

After of Surviving Characters from "The Evil of the Daleks"?

I was watching "The Evil of the Daleks" for the first time and I always wondered what happened to the surviving characters that didn't die at the end (at least not to the Daleks)? Here's who was left at the end of the story.

  • Bob Hall - The guy who was hired to steal the TARDIS and pretended to be an employee at the airport from the last story. Kennedy states that he left and headed up to London.

  • Keith Perry - Another person hired by Edward Waterfield to lure the Doctor and Jamie to his shop. He was last seen with the police looking at Kennedy's body once the Doctor and Jamie were sent back to the 1800s.

  • Mollie Dawson - Maid of Maxtible. Left before the Daleks blew up the house.

  • Ruth Maxtible - Daughter of Theodore - Left before the Daleks blew up the house.

  • Arthur Terrall - Ruth's boyfriend and was under controlled by the Daleks, but was out of it after a fight with Jamie. Left before the Daleks blew up the house.

What do you guys think happened to most of the characters after this story?

Way to Get Cache Images from App?

I wanted to get image files from the app, and I want to ask if it's achievable or not? The reason is because I want to get images that were from an account that was suspended, and I wasn't able to save all the images before it was gone. And I was looking at the account through my app.

Instagram Account I Followed is Suspended, but the user doesn't want to show their face.

So someone I followed on instagram years ago made a new account a few days ago, but this morning their account was gone. I thought they closed it as they had a habit of closing their new accounts for the past few days as they're trying to find a new platform to post their art, but they posted on Twitter that Instagram suspended their account. They only posted about 12 pictures for the past 2 days before the account is gone.

The user said that the only way Instagram can lift the ban is to show their face, but the user refuses to do it. Is there any other way they can get their account unbanned?

Am I the Only One Who Thinks "Frontios" is "Boring"?

Bad pun aside, I remember renting this episode a decade ago from my former library and I think it's one of the few stories from the Classic era that I wasn't interested in, and Five is one of my favorites from that era. I don't know what made me felt bored of it, maybe it's the creatures, the story? Who knows?

I'm debating on rewatching this story if I was harsh on this story or not.

How Can I Start Making Mr. Men Toys like these?

https://preview.redd.it/h24cvdgy1atg1.jpg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=506b6fbf5aac5a68f6370696dc4344ae1d77584b

Hi, I've been collecting these Mr. Men Show toys from another country that were made almost 20 years ago and I like these toys. The only problem is that they only made 24 out of the 31 characters that were from the show, and some former friends went out their way using similar figures to convert them into those remaining characters, but I kinda want to go the extra mile to make original figures based on those toys.

The problem is that I don't know what would be the best way to start out. I kinda want to see if 3D printing might work out as I don't know how to make moulds that would make them resemble the characters. The other problem is what plastic is used for these toys and I saw in the figures that they're made of separate parts, and if I should have to make those part separately.
