First project help.
I am getting married in June. I want to create a very simple platform 2D scroll type game where my partner needs to get to the church gathering the guests and rings as she goes.
This will then, hopefully be playable on an R36 handheld. I have never done this before so need to create sprites, backgrounds, enemies, game mechanics etc etc. it only needs to be simple 4-5 levels as a little break option for guests at our reception.
Is this an impossible challenge? What should I be using as a novice to create all the items needed etc. any help or tips would be amazing! As a start I have GB studio, for my sprite I have photos are there places that can turn these into sprites with ease? I did try GPT but realised quickly it will be more of a hindrance than help.
So now I turn to the super helpful community of Reddit. In replies please remember I’m a novice but want to learn so that I can create more in the future.
