Preferred Striker

Scotland football fan here. Genuine question since there is a bit of debate on who should be in the squad for the coming World Cup so I wanted to know who you would prefer was playing for you…
Oli McBurnie,
Ross Stewart,
George Hirst,
or Tommy Conway

Looking ahead to after the World Cup I can see a few things happening.

RETIREMENTS:
Kenny McLean, Grant Hanley, Craig Gordon - first two are 34 and Craig Gordon can’t surely have another tournament in him!

WINDING DOWN APPEARANCES:
Lyndon Dykes, Anthony Ralston - have been good servants but we need to start looking at bring on younger options so they can improve

RECALLS:
Ryan Portieus, Ross Stewart, Keiran Bowie - if they can keep their form they are too good to leave out

YOUNGER CALL UPS:
Robbie Ure, Dire Mebude, Findlay Curtis, James Wilson, Josh Doig - we need to start bringing in these boys to give them the experience

CLARKE:

STAY - wouldn’t necessarily be against this but we’d need to have a good World Cup. By that I mean qualify for the knock outs. Then his remit for the new contract would be 1. Qualify for next Euros 2. Introduce and bring on younger squad members 3. Promotion from Nations League B.

GO - Again nothing against him but it might just be the right time to go. Even if we qualify he would have a great record and leave on a high with the squad in a good place. Would give any new manager time to adapt and still have a good core of players for transition before they all retire. It’s Moyes for me. I can’t see passed him to be honest, even if I’m being fanciful…
