Currently employed as a software engineer in an MNC, and my team and I are simply just counting our days as news of engineers/white collar workers get replaced by AI agents are all over the place. However, my instinct tells me that I should get myself onto an AI bandwagon before it's too late. After many months of going for interviews for AI-related roles with various companies, I've finally received an offer. But there's a catch, due to my lack of AI expertise, there's a 15% drop in salary. Is it still worth the change? Or this is a good start for my future?

I was just doing my usual grocery shopping at Fairprice at Kallang Wave Mall, and many staff were clearing the shelves, which made me wonder if they're undergoing some sort of renovations. When I asked the one of the staff, she told me they are closing down, last day is on the 19th. I was bewildered because I have been patronizing this gigantic supermarket for the past decade! The lady also added it could be due to the new opening of Sheng Shiong at Kallang Leisure Park that caused the downfall of sales in FairPrice. But nevertheless, does anyone know more info on this? And who will be the next tenant of this humongous space?
