Bought this 2000 Coleman Santa Fe a year ago, and I'd like to start using the water heater. I tried to remove the anode yesterday, and it was stuck. I sprayed it with penetrating oil, and I'm going to try to remove it again today.

My question is how much force can I apply without doing damage? I have a 1/2" drive battery impact. Can I use that to break the anode loose, or am I going to do damage to the water heater?
