Bhutan IS worth it🏔️🫶🏼
Spent the most ethereal 7days in Bhutan, a dream come true for us! Every single thing was worth the trip and money was very well spent!
Given how costly it is to come here, from the 100usd a day per person SDF (used to be and soon to be 200usd again btw!), mandatory tour agencies and costly flights, this had been on our bucketlist for almost 10years!
Bhutan may not be for everyone though- if you crave for modern cities and convenient kind of trips, this isn’t for you.
It’s a country filled with NATURE🫶🏼 (you’ll do lots of hiking, walking, temple visits, monastery visits), cultures are very well preserved and uncolonized by other countries. It is also the only carbon negative country in the world 😊
You come to Bhutan and you experience the actual Bhutan.🌳 Food also isn’t very fancy with their local food centering on vegetables, dairy and chillies.
But locals are good at speaking in English! Not all, but staff in the tourism industry and hospitality as well as kids are very fluent. Everyone we met from guides to locals were very welcoming.
The only regret I had from this trip is not doing it sooner.😅

🐲Personal expenses (souvenirs, coffee shops, snacks, optional gratuities etc.): 15,000php++
