What do you think is holding back the game the most right now?

I think it's just it's reluctant ance on going hard on part 2 characters in terms of marketing and overall "pushing", the story for part 2 has been great, the characters are also great, especially Helia, Coralie and Senadina, however they still can't seem to let go of Part 1, A lot of the ads i got just scrolling was about Part 1 characters new battlesuit, especially when the new Elysia dropped, New Mei, New Seele, New Rita etc... that's fine, HI3 has always been pumping alters left and right, and i don't think that fondness of part 1 will ever go away, but tbh, as much as i love characters like Seele, i don't really care much about these if their origins are from a limited almost non canon event, cuz as a story player, why should i even care at all if this almost doesn't move the plot in the slightest and is just here to pander to nostalgia? i sorta kinda cared when Durandal and Theresa got their new form, but i would rather have a new Senadina.

I mean it's understandable since the criticism they got because of Part 2's slow start, but imo if they just gave that similar care to Part 2 characters, it would generate just as much hype and excitement, one of the reasons i got in to this game was because i watched an ad in a Gigguk video from 2018 abiut a cool looking cutscene of this badass girl with guns, imagine if some of the ads and marketing strongly pushed a Helia spacewarp cutscene, showing of the incredible voicework of her meltdowns, instead of "look at Elysia's new form!!" "Don't you miss her!!"

idk man it just feels like such untapped potential, i'm not against new battlesuits for Part 1 characters, i don't want them to be completely forgotten, but their stories have wrapped up, the players have moved on, because new banners in Hi3 just last much longer, what we get in a year is much more limited in terms of new characters, the last actual "NEW" character we got was Vita from almost 2 years ago, and even including Astral ops, that's just about 3 NEW characters in the span of 2 years, and because we get so few in a year, i don't want it to be filled with a 5th Elysia, i would rather have a playable Nahralab.

Do you think Avidius should've been playable?

He's so goated im ngl, i'm not even a husbando player, but i just think there should have been at least ONE playable male in Septimont, i just think it fits with it's culture of power and strength

Iuno vs Sigrika, what was the better character story?

i think both of these stories were considered as "filler" by a lot of people, not necessarily in terms of canonicity but just the vibes of it being similar to character quests meant to sell you the character, and both of them are also cute...

Anyways, both of them are basically in the middle of what's considered as a great sequence of stories, but consequentially also typically seen as the "low point" of a series of PEAK story patches, as they break up the pacing a bit.

What do you think was handled better story wise?

(also the Luuk stuff aint included, just Sigrika character story, same with Iuno)

Septimont vs Lahai Roi, what was better? (2.4-2.7 and 3.0-3.3)

Here's my Personal take:

Individual highs: Septimont

Interwovenness: Lahai Roi

Hype moments and aura: Septimont

Emotional beats: Lahai Roi

Presentation: equal

Music: Septimont

Enviroment: Septimont

Basically, i think Septimont has higher Hype moments and aura, but Lahai Roi is the better story

Is Sanhua Verina still worth building?

Scar is a bitch to farm wdym he gives out just 2 mats

Anyways, i got Hiyuki S0R1, while waiting for Chisa/Lucilla, she kinda is in the bench, saw people saying Sanhua Verina is a decent team for her, just wondering if they're worth in general so that i can have at least a decent team when i'm faced with a similar dillema in the future where i get a character and their teams release further down the line (this also happened to my Galbrena)

lastly, Scar is a bitctch

Just finished 2.6, Y'all got done dirty

Genuinely speaking i think it's harder to think of a reason why she would NOT be part of the hunt, her whole character is literally made for it, her hunger and drive for challenge, her relations with the dark tide, her disdain for the elites, her whole storyline about what's the real tale, and her writing her own path being similar to Iuno's whole deal, her being the champion of the Agon alongside Rover, shi i can even add in her relationship with Carthethiya as part of the reason why she's perfectly suited for it, and you're telling me she was not even mentioned at all? i mean technically speaking some npc's had lines here and there "explaining" her Absence, but i think that's just bullshit cop-out to write her out, even Buling had more screentime.

In my eyes, her story and personality is basically a mini-Augusta, sharing the same drive to be recognized through strength and power, and shoving it down the faces of the elites, being Insatiable to achieve great heights, and eventually having the people by their side, it's such a missed potential to not have an interaction between these two besides Augusta rewarding her the medal.

It pissed me off too when characters where referring to Rover as the "Great Champion of the Agon" without even a slight mention of Lupa, even though the whole concept of the Agon is that it's a prestigious tournament fought with DUOS, it left a bad impression to me, it's so disrespectful to what Lupa has been through to achieve that glory.

She doesn't even need to play a big part, just have her fight some fodder TD in the frontlines with Avidius, and that would've been enough imo, because at LEAST she was there. speaking of Avidius, i feel like another missed opportunity is an interaction between Avidius and Lupa, they're basically in the opposite sides in terms of attitude, but they share the similar respect for honor, i would imagine if she was with Avidius, she might have tried to jump that one elite who trash talked him, only to be prevented by Avidius cuz he's goated like that.

How high can ZZZ scale with MAXIMUM glaze?

Lowkey kinda reminded me of early Hi3 with it's scaling, like before they even touched the sea of quanta stuff

Anyways, with MAXIMUM glaze, ZZZ is planetary level or with even more GLAZE, it has some dimensional scaling, first of all, The hollows themselves covered the whole planet AND some of the moon, so the cause of it definitely has power that can possibly even surpass that, and not only that but it can also distort both space AND time, confirmed by that one limited time event that had some items from the FUTURE scattered in the Hollow.

With the power of Delusion and agenda, we can also assume that the Creator has the power to distort timelines, and Dimensions in general, at least, with some lore manuscripts, it seemed as if the Creator's goal was to fully MERGE two(or more) dimensions/worlds/timelines, to have one unified world with eternal peace, similar to the plot of Stranger things, The Hollows were basically that dimension "slipping out" and Sarah was the test subject that came from that other alternate reality

Remielle's Weapon **"**Thaumiel" or at least it's name comes from Kabbalistic Jewish mysticism, The word thaumiel (תאומיאל) does not have an exact translation in Hebrew , but it is usually referred as "twins of god." Its more precise meaning relates to two bodies which are not in agreement, and thus the spirit of the name could be translated as "the contending forces."

it represents the highest order of the Qliphoth, or "Tree of Death," which embodies the forces opposing divine harmony. It is the dark, chaotic reflection of the Sefirot Keter (The Crown) on the Tree of Life.

Thaumiel is the opposite of keter which represents unification with god, therefore, thaumiel represents the condition of being separate from god. At its core, thaumiel indicates individuality and the total embrace of one's self rather than communion with others. It embodies conflict and creating boundaries between people.

There may be a sense of balance in thaumiel as part of its dual nature, but the balance is more than likely to be harsh, as in the unnecessary removal of the left arm if the right one has been lost in an accident.

This dualism pretty much lines up with how the Proxy got saved by Remielle and her weapon, it's kinda unclear (at least to me) if Remielle actually used that weapon to save the Proxy, so for now I'm just assuming it was her own powers without "needing" Thaumiel, like she said the crashout was caused by the unbalance or conflicting energies within the Proxy, and Thaumiel basically accelerated it to the point of transformation in the brink of the "abyss".

I assume the abyss refers to Hollow Zero, it is the "chaotic reflection of the tree of life" or in this case the normal life in general, as Hollows not only distort spacetime but also memories, and because the Proxy said it was a familiar feeling, i conclude that when the Proxy transformed, they were in the brink of creating another Hollow Zero sized disaster, or they almost made the Hollow break the Zenless limit, thereby almost creating Zenless Zone zero

PS: i don't have actual ball knowldege, i just googled ts, so there's probably a lot wrong with this

I like how they didn't really (kinda) "redeemed" Promeia, or at least they didn't redeem her actions in a forceful way, by that i mean they didn't have a sob story for Promeia to simply justify her killing people, it's just a simple, "She killed people, that's just her job, she probably did it to get paid, but that's her past now"

We saw her POV when first meeting Cissia and knew she didn't mean any harm, but that's about it, there's no backstory where "i killed them because they were mean and made me cry" or stuff that kinda just skedaddle around that subject, like Hugo or Banyue where they kinda not really maybe killed people but not actually.

As much as i liked Zhao and Dialyn, their backstories felt VERY much just slapped on, especially Zhao, her backstory came out of nowhere, it's like barely 5 minutes of "I got abandoned as a child blah blah blah" it was fine for the most part, but it kinda just personally annoyed me when we got it simply to explain why she has a mentality founded upon distrust, again it's not bad, i just thought it would have been fine if we didn't see her backstory and she's just distrustful, that's it, not every action needs an explanation imo.

I like how simple it is with Promeia tho, i haven't checked it, but her trust events probably have stuff talking about her tragic past, but in terms of MSQ, just having her be there as a job and nothing else worked completely fine, she grew to soften up by the end, but it didn't need a sob story where we help her get rid of trauma or something like that, she's there to help, she killed people, she works with us for now, that's it.

idk why, or what's the reason, but did the leak sub just stop posting Story leaks? specifically in-game cg, cuz corrrect me if i'm wrong the last one that was with a "story" flair was 3 months ago, i just found it entertaining seeing people freaking it about in-game cg with no dialogue, after i played the story

does anyone know the reason for this?

Like she's a disabled frail girl who relies on tech stuff and the game devs genuinely looked at her and decided she uses a broadblade?

The funniest thing to me is that she doesn't even use the blade in her skills and ults lmao (only basic attacks/combos afaik)

Imo this is probably the biggest missed potential the game had in it's story, and i'm talking about the potential parallels they could've made with the THREE plot relevant siblings which are the Proxy Siblings, the Ye Siblings, and Yixuan and her Sister. now that i think about it it's probably one of the main reasons i kinda clocked out in the finale of that saga, they missed a REALLY good potential "conflict" with the main siblings, with the other two pairs of Siblings all having the theme of sacrifice to an extreme degree, whether it be Shunguang summoning Mahoraga, or Shiyuan going to Amphoreus to save his Sister, all of it centralizes on the relationship of Siblings to the point of near destructive sacrifice.

I think this should've been the perfect time for the story have done something similar to the beginning of the game where Belle gets stuck in the Hollow and we were in Wise PoV for some time, not necessarily the same scenario, but something similar in theme, where we really see how much care he has for his Sister, maybe it's just me who noticed but i really felt the worry in Wise voice when that happened(goated VA btw), to the point that he was literally almost arguing with Pubsec, and being genuinely still stressed even AFTER Belle gets rescued, it also highlighted how much Belle trusts his Brother, even comforting other people who got stuck because she KNOWS Wise is gonna do anything to rescue them.

I don't think the finale was bad, just a lot of missed potential, i just think it would've been good if instead of just focusing on the Proxy and YSG relationship, they should've done more with the Siblings especially in this instance where they literally have two other cases with similar relationships, i think this would've been perfect to give the Siblings more distinct Indetities, like maybe a genuine heartfelt conversation with Wise and Shiyuan idk

or they can just use the imaginary energy in it with a higher scale but still within the tree?

if so are there multiple trees? can they even go outside it? or even outside the branches? maybe just the branches but not the tree?

Games but no games?
