First 8mm roll back from the lab

Hi all, I got my first 8mm roll back from the lab and mainly wanted to check with you if that's a normal result. I was expecting somehow less grain/noise although it's understandable that a 200T film shooting a relatively underlit street wouldn't be crisp.

So is this completely normal? Is there anything I could have done better e.g. camera, film, development/scan, camera settings? Would a 500 film have worked better here? The only conditions where the result was satisfying with my 200T film was under bright sun or day and slight overcast at most and I thought it could do darker setups too.

To start with, I love lists. Lists of things I don't have the time to do now, interesting things I find on the internet, favorite courses, interviews, TILs, anything. The more love I give these lists, the happier I am to find them afterwards.

The idea is to make an app that captures these lists but also makes them public (if you want to) and share them in a network of lists. If every user/participant is putting high quality lists, we'll end up having access to reliable and useful information.

So in its core it's very simple "duh lists" but making them well and sharing them I think changes everything!

Needless to say that in the era of misinformation and finding hard to believe what you see is true, this is more useful than ever.

I would be absolutely excited to see more people signing up and more importantly creating good lists as I can't wait to save them and use them!

Chachaboom is currently available as a:

It's entirely free and currently offering email and Google auth signups. Happy to help if you have any trouble signing up or onboarding and of course do let me know if you have any feedback.

Happy list making and sharing!
