i don't dabble in omnipotent characters so i thought i'd give it a shot, these two are sisters, first one is the god of injustice and the second god of justice, or princess of truth. sometimes they're on good terms sometimes they're not. it's basically the morality olympics. show me yours if you have theeem
for some context they are gods of justice and injustice, they're sisters i want them to look related but also different in their own way when it comes to the clothes, and i want the clothes to reflect their view on life. did i capture that or does more need to be done to the second one's color scheme? i put them next to each other if that helps
for context, the right one is the god of justice and the left one is the god of injustice, i don't know if that helps or not, but they're two sides of the same coin, so i wanted them to wear the same dress in two different styles. ik it's just a sketch but i didn't want to wait until the lineart phase >_< but i'll take it down if the sketch is too messy

my goal is to make the drawing show more emotion, in general and between the two characters. they're in a complex relationship and this is a really important part of the story where the guy [faced right] forgives the girl [faced left] who hurt him in a mental health crisis. she feels like he should leave her but he won't. that's basically it yeah, i want to be able to show the emotion through the two and the drawing as a whole. it just feels like my typical void background and simple lighting. i'd like to stray away from it.
for critique i am asking for help with composition and color theory, or anything that could make it reach my goal. i am very much the white background artist so this is a weakness of mine. any help regarding communicating emotion through art would be appreciated.

i'm going to shade it but i figured i should ask before i finish it. i am a white background artist i've never really been good at backgrounds or compositions so i drew this with hopes i could actually do it and do it well. i'm stuck on how to make it better because i don't experiment often, and i wouldn't even know what to do if i did. idk how to explain it i just want it to have more emotion through coloring and other things idk which flair to use so composition or color theory advice would be great

i'd like to do a short video of a character profile, something like the picture but with more information like: name, birthday, sexuality, etc. i couldn't find any tutorials that were specific enough to help me. so if anyone has some suggestions i could look at that would be great.
