Hello, I'm Corvus! I'm looking for some comic loving people (I'm specifically fixated on DC/Marvel but I read some Image and Dark Horse too!) to exchange letters with :) I am completely happy to talk about comics- and other such things of course :D- with anyone regardless of how new they are to them.
I've been a Marvel fan for ten years and a DC reader for only about a year or so. I mostly collect figures (just got my hands on a Bishoujo Storm figure which is such a dream!) and omnibuses and would love to meet someone else who collects too! In terms of Marvel I'm a big Spider-Man fan- very niche, I'm aware- but I love all the other Spider-People too. I'm also a Storm, Ms. Marvel, Fantastic Four, Nightcrawler, MJ, and Gwen Stacy collector though I love most Marvel characters and am happy to talk about any of them. For DC my favorites are Red Tornado and Vixen though like most I do like the 'Batfamily'. I'm a big Superboy, Oracle/Batgirl, Wonder Girl, and Impulse collector right now, though I'm still new-ish to the comics :D I generally enjoy most comics and I'm not super harsh about my ratings so don't feel like you need to walk on eggshells haha, since in my experience the comic community can get pretty rude :,)
Outside of comic books I'm really into hiking, reading, any type of odd historical event or otherwise unusual phenomena, collecting (I collect Pokemon and Twisted Wonderland too!), video games (big big Hades, OM! SWD?, Twisted Wonderland, Stardew, and BG3 fan, and I'll try any visual novel or interactive fiction), botany, zoology, entomology- my major!, music of all kinds, stuffed plushes, animation, and anime/manga. I love to cook and bake too, and would be delighted to meet any other dessert and tea enthusiasts!
I tend to write quite a bit (3-6 pages) and I love to dress up my envelopes! I usually send out comic issues/TPBs, postcards, stickers, decorations of characters, and other such things and I would love to exchange any types of crafts with other people!
My only other specifications are for people who are LGBT+ friendly, neurodivergent friendly, and friendly to alternative cultures . I'm autistic and Spider-Man is one of my more laid back special interests! And I would love to meet other info dumpers, alternative people, or people who participate in oshikatsu :,) Otherwise I'm happy to exchange with anybody.
