I had Orif Sx on 2/11 on my ankle. I’m seeing a lot of posts about people having their hardware removed. Prior to surgery, my surgeon told me that the hardware would be there to stay. After seeing so many people having their hardware removed, now I’m questioning why I was told the hardware stays put. Was anyone given the option? Was anyone else told the hardware has to remain in?
