My Pride and Joy

I bought this lovely philo Brasil a little over a year ago as my first houseplant, thinking it was a pothos. I absolutely fell in love with the variegated leaves and lemon lime colors. I've done very little care wise besides repotting twice and fertilizing only once. She gets lots of sun from an east facing door and has grown to be about 6ft long based on the longest vine. This is the plant that convinced me that I can actually keep plants alive and now I have over 20 different plants in the house.

Also wanted to add a disclaimer since I know they're invasive in some areas, but she's 100% an indoor plant. Had to take her outside for a long overdue dusting.

$4 Ikea Clearance Revival

Decided to take a chance on this $4 Ikea clearance golden Pothos over the weekend. It was so floppy and wilted when I brought it home that I thought it was a gonner. Repotted in chunkier soil, watered it, and gave it lots of light. I was floored when two days later the leaves thickened back up and the vines started standing up. I know there's still more recovery to come, but I'm super happy with the outcome so far.

Found the most gorgeous yarns over the weekend during the Knitting in the Heartland convention. I've never used hand dyed or hand spun yarn before and thought I'd give it a go. Absolutely in love with the colors and definitely wish I would have bought more.
