Pleasantview Drama Never Gets Old
I’m 34 years old, and have been playing this game since I was 13! Pleasantview has always been my favourite, and I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve restarted over the years lol. It’s such a comfort to me, honestly.
I don’t play as often as I used to, but when I do I can play for 3-4 hours without realizing how much time has passed. Last night was one of those nights, and it was probably my most dramatic yet! I gave my poor husband a play by play this morning because I just couldn’t believe it haha.
- In a previous play, I had Cassandra marry Don and move into his condo.
- During this round, I played the Dreamers for the first time. I moved them into a new house because I love a fresh start lol.
- A few nights in, Cassandra comes to the door. I never had Darren act on his feelings for her, so my plan was they would just chat/watch tv together. The drama started when Cassandra autonomously kissed Darren! I decided to roll with it and created the story line that she was so miserable in her marriage; her husband only wants her for her money, and she suspects he’s cheating. She goes to her friend for comfort, and ends up kissing him. This sparked their affair and they woohooed.
- They continue their affair, and then I load up the Lothario household. I decided that Don was sick of the marriage sham, and having already gotten his money he decided to start a fire to kill Cassandra. (Diabolical, I know aha). He “accidentally” leaves a TV dinner in the toaster oven and goes to bed. A fire starts, and poor Cassandra is caught in it. She catches on fire.. but doesn’t die! She somehow jumps out of the flames and the fire dies down.
- She goes to work immediately after, and gets fired for poor job performance. When she comes home, she finds Don cheating on her with Kaylynn. She calls Darren after such a horrible day, he comes over, and they kiss. Don finds them, freaks out, and attacks Darren. (Loses, ha!)
- At this point, Cassandra and Don are enemies and Cassandra has had it. She divorces Don, and ends up keeping all the money and the condo. I redecorated it, and she’s living her best life! Needs to find a new job, though.
- Don moved into a 1 bedroom apartment and is woohooing Nina, Dina, and Kaylynn. Got away with attempted murder lol.
Now, it was midnight at this point, so I had to go to bed because adult responsibilities. I need to decide whether I’m going to have Cassandra and Darren end up together- my main hesitation is that I love the way I decorated both of their houses and I don’t want to lose either haha. I also was having Darren chat with his mail person, Dagmar, every morning. I wanted them to get together, but when I use the phone she doesn’t show for some reason! If anyone knows why I’ll take any tips lol. (I have Ultimate Collection).
