Settlement Building…waste of time, but I love it?

Pretty much as the title states.

I’m almost fully done with my first survival play-through (main story). I love settlement building, especially to just turn my brain off after a stressful day of work. The problem is, I spend all this time building these settlements, scratching the OCD part of my brain, making sure everything fits JUST right, adding defenses/stores, etc…..but what’s it for?

None of my settlements really get “attacked” really, unless it’s an occasional group of raiders that die within 30 seconds. By the time I’m done with this playthrough I look at my settlements and realize I just put in all this time for them to be rendered useless.

Do you guys use any mods to increase settlement attacks or anything? I’m not even sure why I add stores to my settlements unless I need to stop somewhere for ammo. I wish there was more of an economy-growing style of function included in settlements to make it seem like it was actually worth investing in.

Novation Launchkey 37 reviews? Thinking of buying

Follow up to a recent post I made about buying some equipment.

I’m thinking of purchasing the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 bundle (headphones, microphone) as my new audio interface, as well as the Novation Launchkey 37 MIDI. I’m new to both of these pieces but they seem to have great reviews and can be very experimental and powerful for the price of both of them.

I’m curious if anyone has used either of these pieces, and exactly how creative can you get with them? Between the Novation, Ableton, the microphone for recording guitar, mandolin, banjo, it’s very exciting to think of all the possibilities there
