This might be a warped perspective to some but it's interesting to me how many of the women are meet seem to be mirrors of the men they're receiving.

The stereotypical sad and lonely man just desperate for some love affection and human connection has it's exact opposite everywhere you go.

So many women here are looking for exactly that.

Maybe they're going about it the wrong way, but amidst the prostitution there's genuine and real connections being made, maybe fleeting and temporary but for the people involved they're meaningful.

It's insane how a few months I'm Thailand can reconfigure your entire brain.

I don't want it to end. I could make a life here. I have the means. I'd have to give up seeing my family so often but I know I'd be happier here.

I think once this stint is over I might come back for 6 months and live closer to reality. Not in 5 star hotels. Maybe get like a longer term apartment somewhere.

And then I'll fall in love and roll the dice again. 😂

Since I've been in Thailand for a while now and I've got a routine, I'm starting to pick up signals from various women I'm seeing out and about. So far just kept it to light hearted banter but there's a lot of potential.

At the mall, in various shops etc....

The thing is I'm not looking for a relationship. I don't wanna play with a woman's heart. I have to go back "home" at some point and even though I'm planning to basically live here permanently, it's gonna be some time before that happens.

So how do you signal that you're basically interested in paying for someone's time to hang out and have sex in exchange for money in these situations?

Or does it not really work that way?

Because speaking with a lot of women, it seems like most of them have got an experience where some guy chatted them up and then they became a couple only for the guy to mysteriously vanish. Not my vibe.
