What's your go to rig

Last season I really got in to trout fishing, tried a few different approaches, and really learned more patience than anything.

This season I've had tons of success keeping it simple, mouse tail, split shot 1-2 ft above the hook, and just letting it bounce/ drag bottom through currents.

Just looking for other somewhat simple setups to keep from getting bored.

Mainly bank fishing along local creeks in southeastern PA if that's worth anything
