Ear specialists, please help!
PLEASE READ THIS,My eardrum is already problematic, my left ear specifically, I had a bad flu and it resulted in an infection buildup in my ear, I went to urgent and I had a painkiller through an IV because it so bad I was screaming out of pain, it didn't work as fast as I wanted, anyways I went back home and suddenly my eardrum bursts, yes you heard that right, it literally BURST AND TORN! And I had a bleeding for like three days after, I went to a specialist and had an ear drop, he told me to be careful when showering and not swim to prevent water entering my ear, the usual advice anyone would give, a few months later I went back and it was loosely closed, with that small camera we saw that my eardrum moving in and out when breathing, the dictor told it's healing on its own -even though I think nothing changed till now- so there may be no need for a surgery (which my parents got at an old age and had side effects, they wouldn't even let me consider that choice) Fast forward, it's been more than a year since this happened, I still have random ear stings, very bad head spinning, imbalance and dizziness, evertime I sneeze I need to be extra careful to sneeze out my throat so my ear won't burst open, that causes irritation in my throat, when I blow out my nose I need to be careful too, this has caused some pain too as well, let alone minor and or sudden pressure changes when in the car, so swimming deep is NOT a good option for me, I missed so many amazing swimming chances this summer just because of this shitty problem, I don't want to suffer my whole life with this, I want to fix it right away even if it comes with minor hearing loss, I'd rather take that over having such annoying problems that take over my day and ruin it, my parents are still very strict about not letting me take the "risk" based on their experience, any specialist, please give your opinion or advice
