Hello everyone

I’m considering a 2080ti or 3070 GPU as these are available in my local marketplace by individual sellers. People who have experience buying used GPUs, what do you check? Any automates tests that can determine the health of the card? And what is a decent price for an nvidia 3070 AMP? Please give me buying advice. Thanks!

Hello everyone. After working on a few projects with a jewelry manufacturer, I realized that rendering jewels was a high friction workflow. Their folks were spending half a day fighting with gemstone refractions, tweaking lighting and trying to get the gold to actually look like gold and not yellow plastic. It’s a huge battle, especially if you aren’t a KeyShot wizard.

So, to remove this friction, I built an app that anyone can access from a web browser and generate high quality photorealistic images & turn table videos in a few minutes (NOT AI generations).

Basically, you just:

  1. Pick a pre-made creative.
  2. Upload your ring's 3DM file.
  3. Select the metal & gemstone
  4. Hit render!

The app handles cleanup, scaling, placement, and lighting automatically so you can actually get it in front of a client (or into a catalog) without the usual headache.. It can even perform 1-click automated batch processing in case you need to present the same ring in multiple metal variations & gemstone combinations.

I’m looking for some feedback from actual CAD artists and jewelry manufacturers. The app is in prototype phase and its definitely got some rough edges. The gemstone fire needs refining, and I am working with a CAD artist to create more scenes & better lighting etc. Meanwhile, I want to see how the pipeline handles different styles—especially the tricky stuff. If you’ve got a CAD model you're working on, I’d love to run a few renders for you for free. No watermarks.

Drop a comment or shoot me a DM if you want to try it out! Thanks!!
