$2 lunch in Saigon is actually insane 😭

banh canh cua = thick noodles, crab soup, toppings loaded, and somehow cheaper than a coffee back home.

Vietnam street food really undefeated.

I am sharing here my personal food map. I have been living in Hanoi for way too long and started writing about the food scene as a hobby 4 years ago. Each location links to a dedicated review I wrote. I think it can be useful to a lot of travellers and even expats new to the city.

A few disclaimers:

  • This is not a street food map, even though I have listed quite a few of them. This is a map of places I visited and wrote about, which means it includes rooftop bars, cocktail bars, higher end restaurants but also comfort food spots like pizza and burgers. Yes, I do not eat street food every day and I hope that's not a crime.
  • This is an ongoing work. I will keep adding new places as I keep writing.
  • Feel free to suggest places I should visit and add!
